11.6. Removal and installation of the transmission on the car with the VAZ-2106 engine

We perform work on a viewing ditch or the elevator.

The transmission can be removed from the car equipped with the VAZ-2106 engine only together with a case of coupling and a pro-rate (see. "Description of a design"). If the transmission is not supposed to be disassembled, then it is not obligatory to merge oil from its case. In this case the removed transmission cannot be installed vertically by a coupling case down that oil did not follow from an air vent of a main shaft.

We disconnect a "minus" wire from the rechargeable battery.

In salon we remove a floor casing (see. "Removal of a casing of a floor") and an air supply air duct in a back part of salon (see. "Removal of an air duct of air supply in a back part of salon").

We carry out the works shown on a photo 1-11 in the subsection "Removal and Installation of the Transmission on the Car with the Engine UEPA-331".

We carry out further operations under the car.

We disconnect wires from the switch of lamps of a backing (see. "Replacement of the switch of lamps of a backing").

We remove cardan transfer (see. "Removal of cardan transfer").

We disconnect a flexible shaft from the speedometer drive (see. "Removal of a flexible shaft of the drive of a speedometer").

We turn off bolts of fastening of the working cylinder of a hydraulic actuator of coupling (see. "Removal of the working cylinder of coupling on the car with the VAZ-2106 engine") also we take away the cylinder forward, without separating a hydraulic actuator. We turn off bolts of fastening of a starter to a coupling case (see. "Removal and dismantling of a starter 421.3708").

Key "on 10" we turn off four bolts of fastening of a cover of a case of coupling.

We disconnect an arm of a reception pipe from the arm fixed on a transmission case (see. "Removal of a reception pipe on the car with the engine UEPA-331").

We turn off two bolts of fastening of a cross-piece of a back support of the power unit to floor arms (see. "Removal and installation of the transmission on the car with the engine UEPA-331").

We establish an adjustable support under a transmission case.

By head "on 17" with the cardan hinge and the extender it is turned off two bolts of the lower fastening of a case of coupling to the block of cylinders of the engine. We turn off two bolts of the top fastening of a case of coupling to the block a head "on 19" — also with the cardan hinge and the extender.

Accurately we shift the transmission with a case of coupling and a pro-rate back, bringing a main shaft out of a nave of the conducted clutch plate...

... also we remove the transmission.

We apply SHRUS-4 lubricant on vents of a main shaft and we install the transmission in the return sequence. In salon we perform the works described in the subsection "Removal and Installation of the Transmission on the Car with the Engine UEPA-331".
